KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER
CLUE’s Detained Immigrant Bond Fund provides financial support to help secure the release of detained community members from immigration detention.
- People released from detention are more likely to secure an attorney and more likely to win their cases.
- Those who can’t pay bond stay incarcerated in abominable conditions. Some give up and self-deport.
- Bonded individuals can go back to their lives and families while they build a case to gain status.
- Detainees who use for-profit-bond securers often face outrageous interest payments.
$600,000
BOND FUND
One hundred percent of donations go directly to bonds (minus credit card fees if that’s how you choose to give). Even better, after each case is resolved, the bond money is returned to our fund. That means your donation will go on helping more detained individuals.
