Revolutionary Nonviolent Activism
Join us for this monthly interfaith workshop rooted in the legacy of Rev. James Lawson—civil rights icon and pioneer of nonviolent resistance.
Revolutionary Nonviolent Activism explores faith-rooted nonviolent activism and workshopping de-escalation techniques.
Whether you’re standing with striking workers, protecting your immigrant neighbors, protesting unjust policies, or applying nonviolence in everyday life, this session offers perspectives and practical tools for action.
Holidays and Holy Days
The act of walking with workers, immigrants, and communities of color looks different, depending on strategic campaign objectives. Sometime we show up for “Meet and Pray” actions. Sometimes we join a picket or a city council meeting.
Throughout the year, sacred days like Ash Wednesday, Passover, Easter, and Tisha b’Av often offer opportunities for sacred solidarity given the direct link between struggles that happened thousands of years ago and injustice that continues today. Check back regularly for opportunities to connect through Sacred Action.
Celebrate Solidarity! Support CLUE!
Twice a year, changemakers across Los Angeles and Orange Counties come together to celebrate all that we can achieve when we work toward the common goal of building Beloved Community.
We applaud “architects” and “giants” of justice who have contributed to our movement and highlight the struggles that continue.
Orange County’s event, Architects of Justice, takes usually takes place in March and the Los Angeles County event, Giants of Justice, usually takes place in May.
