As Advent begins, opportunities to accompany workers as they wait for justice.

Dear Friends,

We’re now in the liturgical season of Advent: waiting for Christmas and the birth of Jesus.  But it is more than about counting down the days between now and December 25th: at its foundation, Advent asks us to “recalibrate our hearts and minds for the justice work we are called to do,” as Lindsay K. Monihen writes.

So, it’s with great joy that I offer you many opportunities in the coming 10 days to recalibrate your own heart and mind for justice. And perhaps join me on the streets of Downtown LA and Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica.

In this Season of Advent, we will accompany hospitality workers waiting for the birth of a new season of justice.

Read on for more details. I hope to see you!

Thank you for continuing to support workers in their righteous fight to live where they work. We are–all of us–needed in this struggle to build a more sacred and just society.
