CLUE's sixth annual InGathering is an informal teach-in event to address urgent issues facing communities of faith. It is a chance for our faith leaders in the CLUE network to come together for learning, fellowship and action, all grounded in our spiritual roots.
This year's theme, "Right to Rise: Our Power to Prosper," addresses the covenant that we are called into as people of faith to help workers, believing that every human being has a right to prosper and to reach their full potential.
In this conversation, we emphasize what is truly at stake in so-called "right to work" attacks to try to weaken labor unions, including the Janus v. AFSCME court case about to be decided in the Supreme Court.
We will feature the voices of vulnerable, affected people as corporations try to muffle these "lobbyists for the poor."
