Clergy & Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE)
Giants of Justice – Virtual
Tuesday | June 30, 2020 | 8AM (PDT)
For the health and safety of our community, we’ve taken CLUE Justice’s largest fundraiser—Giants of Justice—online!
Join us on Tuesday, June 30 at 8AM (PDT) for a livestream program to support Clergy & Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE). The online celebration, hosted by Peacemaker Najeeba Syeed, will be our chance to honor our frontline heroes and see what’s possible when we join together, rooted in faith to reach for justice for all.
We will also be recognizing:
- The National Union of Healthcare Workers and SEIU’s United Healthcare Workers who have risked their health to save lives during the pandemic.
- The United Food and Commercial Workers who risk their lives every day to provide us with food and other necessities to feed our families.
- Reverend Nancy Frausto and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church for sheltering asylum seekers as they are released from ICE detention.
During this pandemic, you have helped secure better working conditions, rent relief, safer shelter, groceries, and more for thousands of our brothers and sisters. But the work continues, and we need your help more than ever.
If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Seyler at [email protected] or (213) 481-3740.
